How much longer must we put up with Hurricane victims?

man, red cross keeps paying for hurricane victims hotel rooms and apartments. how much longer must we endure this?

I have no idea, but it's driving me crazy. I guess until the media finds something else to swarm around and talk about for the next decade or so

It's not driving me crazy, but it is becoming a bit much.

I don't know.

I say they are lucky to be alive and should go back to there hole and be gratful for thatarabia

i have to deal with them on a daily basis. just ask FJ, when i get home and she asks me how my day was, man, i go off. they are a bunch of freeloaders and thugs.

Thats really rude to say. They had their whole lives turned upside down. They need other peoples help, wouldnt you want help if you were in there situation?

Well, they should have been aware of the fact that they lived in a coastal city that is under sea level.

dont get me wrong, i like helping the ones who need help. but about half of them are criminals. they are selling dope out of my hotel and breaking into cars. i am used to thugs, but these louisiana thugs are a different breed.
its not rude, its fact.

see, that is what you should tell us straight out.✅ I didnt realize these people staying in the hotle were thugs. When most people hear about the flood vicitms they think of the ones who are trying really hard to get by.

not all of them are... there are a lot of poor people and families that live there and they actually didn't have the money to get out of there... and our president waited too long to help them out like he could've. and the good people that live there, cannot help it that there are criminals there... everyone needed to be evacuated out, it wouldn't be right to sort through the good people from the bad... there are still many people without homes right now and a lot of people lost members of their family and many dear memories, so we should do anything we can to help them... people need to stop being selfish and think of others.

this just in: fruits got a splinter. we need to give him booka bucks and TV coverage for a few months!!

i hope this works

well isn't this thread just full of insignificant people.

Those people had to go through so much and suffer and still are suffering through a life threatening event and you're being bugged by the things red cross are doing for them.

Get a life and deal with it. You must have it so bad right now.

What life threatening event are they suffering through right now?

some are still without homes or any shelter or food and are dying.

That is not a life threatening event. That is thier life. There are plenty of shelters the red cross has made to give them home and food. But that is not the point RJ is trying to make. He's talking about all the people out there who sell drugs from within those shelters. He's talking about the people who looted the stores and didnt leave the city. THose are the people we're all sick of hearing about.

well i get more than that from his posts and it's very inconsiderate.

do you deal with them on a daily basis, 8 hours a day? no, i think not. i do it every damn day, and i am telling you that over half of them are criminals getting free hotel rooms. they have a home to go to, but they choose to infect our city with their presence.
the decent ones have moved on, either back to their homes or finding a home here. the ones i deal with now are all scum. why fema/red cross is still helping them is beyond me.
come and hang out with me at work for a day and you will see that i am right.

umm you don't know what they have to go back to.

and i'm sure if they are as bad as you say, then they are still being helped b/c feam/red isn't with them 24/7 to see how they are.

i feel bad for hurricane victims and all, and i gave money, but the media has GOT to stop talking 'bout them
