even kratos brother can kill dante. dante is just a half demon really stupid

.....I think Kratos can beat him pretty handily now. Wasn't sure at first, but now that I think about it, his variety of magic attacks will make dante a cakewalk.

yeah well put it this way dante fought the devil and so did kratos in greek mythology satan=hades in greek mythology. kratos is the marked one of distruction dante is just a half demon its like putting adult fighting a 6 yr old kid

Dudes...... has no one played dmc 4? or the DmC remake 2013? dante battled a HUGE titan like boss near the end of dmc 4 and in the remake he battled dozens of huge bosses, and you just HAVE to accept that vergil in dmc3 was FCKING DIFFICULT. dante is FAR more skilled and as strong as kratos....... ive played all god of war games including gow: ascension and all devil may cry games and love both dante and kratos ......... but frankly if these two battle, the battle would go on for MONTHS, and in the end, Dante will win with 3 hp remaining. bosses will seem easy in dmc but so will they in gow, once you have played them.

The Savior wasn't really as big as a GoW titan, but was just as slow. Also, Dante had trouble breaking through its exterior.

@voldra: Gameplay difficulty doesn't mean much.. and DmC is so far the weakest version of Dante ._.

@AG: Well the exterior "holds a millennia of demonic matter and spirit melded together", even minor demonic power makes things really tough. Plus Dante's job wasn't really to destroy it, Nero and Kyrie trapped inside and all.

I think Dante becuase of his wide arsenal of weapons (ranged and melee) and the fact he can get stabbed with a giant sword and heal immediately. also his devil forms are extremely powerful. one trait dante and kratos share is the merit of killing each's equivalent of Satan. dante beat mundus/lucifer (i really don't know which one but one is satan) and kratos beat hades. they're both god-killers with insane strengths but i have to give this one to dante as dante's limit of power is much higher then kratos and dante is much more agile.

Kratos is far stronger and more durable than Dante and has a regen factor of his own (To the point where just the shockwaves from his attacks would knock Dante massively off balance and do severe damage to him)

And no, Kratos feats are far above Dante's
