I vote no to book characters.... keep it comic based

my opinion is keep it in the comics, but if we do books, the scans would be bitchin, as would the online sources

I think most would have to just pick comic characters since there aint a reliable source for bios.

Ok this is putting me at quite a disadvantage but I'll do it anyway . I shall reveal My only book character choice.

Ancient Scar-Leader Kroq-Gar

Scar-Leader Kroq-Gar is an ancient Saurus Warrior from the now ruined temple-city of Shotl, nestled in a deep jungle-valley in the Spine of Sotek Mountains. Having lived for thousands of sun revolutions and fought in countless wars, Kroq-Gar has witnessed much change in the world in his time, yet his mind is solely focused on battle, as is the way with all Saurus.

The spawning that bore Kroq-Gar into the world produced only a handful of Saurus, though each of them was a powerful creature marked out for greatness, blessed by Xhotl himself. Their natural cunning and instinctive aggression surpassed those of the native beasts of the surrounding jungle. Many of these usually aggressive creatures would cower under the Saurus's hard gaze. Kroq-Gar's spawning coincided with the rearing of a brood of Carnosaurs and he claimed the most aggressive and volatile of the Carnosaurs as his own.

Kroq Gar may create a searing ball of light in the palm of his hand ,which can then be directed at his enemies, shooting from his fingertips in great branches of contorting energy

He wields the revered spear of Tlanxla , this powerful weapon was said to have been wielded by the war-like Old One deity Tlanxla as he rode his sky chariot into battle. It hums with ancient energy , and those struck by it are overcome with flashes of doom laden visions which sap their will to fight.

And to prove i'm not making all of this up ......

Also anyone familiar with warhammer fantasy should know whom i speak of , if not then go to your local gameworkshop and check ....

^ i'm against it.... you clearly made that guy up on the spot

1. 3
2. I'd say just comic books and books.
3. I'd say no TK

Also, a few points i wanted to get across.
I'd say just 3 people, because to me personally, that keeps it simple enough not to get headaches about 8 characters, and also cool and interesting enough to be able to get some diversification in and so on.

We also need a time limit for knock outs. For example, you said that healing factors would be limited to a wolverine standard that we set ok? Well, what if the character with the healing factor HAS been knocked out before, and was shown waking up, but it didn't say how long it took him to wake up? It would be speculation and we wouldn't know if he'd be back on his feet by the time the fight ended.

Also regarding speed, i'm not sure how fast Quicksilver was going when he had that Isotope enhancement, but i'm pretty sure you said Mach10 is the limit. Well, we have to make sure that Quicksilver with the Isotope didn't go faster than that, because i remember seeing him be faster than Exodus' mental attacks. And i mean CRAZY fast. And even if it only said he was going Mach 10 (which it didn't, but again, i can't remember how fast he was), it was still a bit of a PIS encounter IMO. How he could move faster than a blanket attack or his psi-bolts, i won't understand.

Now that i think about it, i keep wishing i would've said i'd be one of the organizers with Dizzle and SS 😛

3 characters
Yes to books and comics
No to telepathy

telepathy was already out of the question. Number 3 was whether we should allow TK or not. I'd say no, because people will use all kinds of arguments like "He/she can just lift him/her up and smash them across the battlefield" which is something we mostly never see actually happen, but people assume it could. That is also tied in with my Strength Force Theory. 😛

Yeah, i just checked to see and wolverine8888 also got banned at the same time as whatup880088 which can only mean they were the same person. But that's pretty stupid if you ask me, because he kept insisting it's not him. He probably did it because he had such a horrible reputation on this forum and wanted a new name to start over.

Well he's not to bright putting those eights in his name first thing people thought when they saw that was that he must be wolverine8888.Funny how he was still defending wolverine like only wolverine8888 would.

Oh well, it's probably just a temporary ban, not a permanent one.

So dark are you gonna judge?

Definitely. I'm just sorry for two things:

1. That i didn't volunteer to help you guys organize
2. That Dizzle says we'll be rotating judges so that kind of means i won't be able to judge too many fights.

It depends it would be best for non-contestants to judge matches considering that some might want to judge against the stronger contestants. We'll see we need guys who actually have knowledge about the tourney and what it's all about.

Thats why i didn't decide to judge.....

I read (though didn't participate) both the last tournament, and the Evanghel one, so i know how they go, don't worry 😉

I know that you know how they go it's the others who might want to judge.

Yeah, i know. Oh, also, here's some food for thought:

Whoever picks Mimic is a very intelligent person. You get 5 powers (at half of maximum, but even then) in one single person. Pretty awesome if you ask me 😉

alrighty, so can anyone post all the restricitions again
