Oh, and all the matches last for a week... So you have plenty of time, even if you can't be here at noon tomorrow or you don't get home till 9 on weekdays.
Also, we will have 2 matches running at once, and the week's judges will be judging both matches. It just seems stupid to pick 2 separate sets for matches that happen at the same time.

It usually dies down much sooner than that. The time is usually waiting for people to vote. Hell, me and AW (formerly Sentry) just agreed to stop arguing, because we were writing 3 pages worth every post, and just going in circles.

Yeah, I'll post the thread tomorrow, the two contestants argue about who would win. Judges vote whenever they feel like it. At the end of the week, I'll announce the winner, he/she will move on, and the loser will be knocked out. Other than that, iut's a simple tournament layout. The winner of 1 fights the winner of 2 in the second round and so on.
Oh, and I apparently live in "fake Chicago"... Meaning I'm 'burbing it up, rather than actually living within the city. My brother apparently gets a lot of crap when people find out he doesn't live IN Chicago.

Teams don't have information on the other teams until they meet them. Prep is solely for them to either boost each other (keeping within the limits, of course) or prepare stuff like shields. No flying to pick up extra equipment, no building weapons.
Oh, and starting with shields up is legal. No one's going to be able to pull a speedblitz anyhow.

And remember, when the fights start, if you're not in the match don't spam up the thread unless you're asking a clarifying question or have something important to add. Leave the debating primarily to those involved. It'll make it easier for anyone voting too. 🙂
