Teams don't have information on the other teams until they meet them. Prep is solely for them to either boost each other (keeping within the limits, of course) or prepare stuff like shields. No flying to pick up extra equipment, no building weapons.

Oh, and starting with shields up is legal. No one's going to be able to pull a speedblitz anyhow.

That actually....makes sense kinda , with surfer proclaiming the word of Gah-Lak-Tus(aka the planets destruction) , the whole wings and angel motive can slide together because essentially their both proclaiming the end of the word .
