You got one thing incorrect: The Disciple is not God's greatest Angel. Zera is.

Do you remember when the Cosmic Mother froze Spawn and Zera and clearly stated on panel that Spawn is not ready for this fight.

But then she's pitting Spawn against The Disciple now, isn't she? How can Spawn be ready for Disciple, but not ready for Zera, if Disciple is God's greatest warrior ?

True, I was only referring to the title that he himself claims. I wonder how this is going to play out. Spawns not on a level take on either of the two yet Earth mother doesn't seem like shes going to just give the power to spawn.

I don't know exactly.....as of now Spawn has to defeat The Disciple and he needs Cyan's help, somehow, to do it.

He has yet to do these things:

1) Defeat Zera

2) I doubt he will even bother with Mammon anymore...

3) Organize his Legion of Spawns

4) Protect Earth

5) Defeat Satan

6) Defeat God

I thinks its more because of the last few issues. Is it me or are things moving kinda slow in Spawn.

How is Spawn moving slowly? So much has happened in a short amount of time, I think it's getting better and better.

I mean really recent. Compared to comics like Thunderbolts, or GL, Spawns been a little slow. An example would be the last issue. Did I really need to read a whole issue about Wanda putting a gun to her head. It took basically 5 issues for the cosmic mother to explain everything.

This was more like an arc than an issue. First one twin kills the other, then cosmic mother explains the situation, then wanda tries to kill herself, and the twins start filling their armies. They have shown granny being taken into heaven for the last 2-3 issues. Even Ragnarok for thor was only 5 issues and that was asgards armageddon.

Just read 160, It was awesome. So we finally get some action underway. Battling Judas was a nice touch.
