Issue #42:

Last we saw Spawn there was a huge explosion. The explosion sent him flying for a looooooong distance.

His suit can shift to become aerodynamic. It also protects its user from extreme heat (friction) and can take on a hardness of vanadium steel (could get stronger, we don?t know. It might?ve been saving up energy and becoming just as strong as necessary).

Issue #43:

The body of Spawn is broken. Really badly. He needs to heal but without using his powers. By using his powers he could heal nearly instantaneously. But he doesn?t want to. So he uses another way.
Hellspawn have the ability to feel sin and evil. They can also ?feed? on it. A ?call? goes out and all creatures perceived as ?evil? answer. The hellspawn feeds on their evil and is rejuvenated.

Terry has a car accident and is rushed to the hospital. Initially it looks ok, but then the doctors find out he?s got a cancerous brain tumor. It can?t be operated on. Next night, he goes into a deep coma.

Issue #51:

Spawn travels to the fourth hell. This hell is one where hopes and dreams are shattered, torture both physical and emotional last forever. Spawn shows some pretty awesome force of will.
If you have just skipped over the other things, please don?t skip over this one. I went to the trouble of getting, hosting and posting the scans of almost the entire comic so you can see how Hell tries to break his body and his mind in order to subdue him. People keep saying how ?Rogue is so sad? and so on. Or how ?Wolverine has a tortured existence?. BULLSHIT! THIS is torture.
