But killed someone to save someone else, if not more people. That to me is for the greater good of the community.

Yeah, it didn't go as planned. Imagine if that had been tested on humans. How else do you get a correct formula? You test it. There are bound to be problems. You test it multiple times until you narrow it down to something that works.

Call me fickle, but I'd prefer those animals to die than many more humans to die.

Yes, some people are higher than others. Whether it be by luck or birth right. Look at the world around you. We have leaders who tell us what to do, by nature they are above us.

Ok, so you you'd much rather deny yourself medications to save your life? What good is that going to do you or the world? The animals they were tested on are already dead and the medication has been finalized. Your sacrifice would change absolutely nothing.
