No one would hold her accountable for the death of the mouse. Unrealistic. Some arguers of causality would claim her interference may have hastened its death or intensified its pain or both. However, either theory is extraordinarily circumstantial and relies too heavily on potential which is always weak from the start.
In short, the mouse died, it was tragic, she did her best, none can fault her...except maybe me...because I'm perfect devil
