So ? What does that have to do with the argument between me and Ninecoronas ?

I'm talking about illegal immigrants and thier struggles, not the privelaged Mexicans who complain when they are in United States.

He BLATANTLY admitted that he couldn't care less for thier struggles and that if their country is in such bad condition, then they should DO something about it.

I responded how could they do something about it? With WHAT RESOURCES ? With WHAT MONEY ? They HAVE close to NOTHING down there, those who are of the poor class.

He responded by accusing me of being a racist towards him ( i didnt even KNOW wat race he is) and by throwing insults at me like a child would do.

Also when I pointed out that United States stole Texas, New Mexico, and California from Mexico during the Spanish American War, all he said was "Well its OURS NOW"......

i think he is insensitive and hateful....i beleive i have right to think that.

I'm not Mexican, and i dont get along with many Mexicans either, but i still recognize thier RIGHT TO SURVIVE

Because he was critisizing illegal Mexicans in general, and if you are goign to attack a certain group of people for whatever reason, you have to consider all the facts there is about them.

to disregard all of thier positive points and only pay attention to thier negatives is an act of hate and bias.

Believe it or not, it is not impossible to find a weapon in Mexico. Also, they have 12 million buddies in the U.S. that can easily get a gun, why not have them do it? It is not an impossible task.

Historical interpretations on issues do not vary that much. Texas rebelled from Mexico, they were a province in rebellion. When the south rebelled, the US went to war to bring them back no? Granted teh mexican response to teh Texas rebellion was 10 years to slow, but the US annexed Texas which was part of Mexico. Texas was in rebellion, it was not free territory.

Believe it or not, illegal immigration is not a global conspiracy. The Us immigration quotas/laws are way to stringent. Some countries you have to wait 30 years to immigrate. All they want is a better life. If you lived in a country with 50% poverty, you'd want to come to the US too anyway you could.

And racism against mexicans is clearly a valid claim...as it is with blacks. Racism STILL exists in our society, minorites have a right to be overprotective.

And try to be mature for yourself, it make you seem more intelligent and your argument more credible.

Nothing, directly, but revolution is probably the quickest way to improve their own lives. Otherwise, they just sit there with their corrupt government who won't make a change.
