As long as they have Venom in Spiderman 4, I will be happy. I just hope that he won't die, though. He doesn't have to be a sidekick to Spiderman, he can be an ally and/or partner. The best team up in the entire Marvel universe would have to be Spiderman and Venom. To have them work together to defeat an enemy like Carnage or whoever would be an awesome scene in Spiderman 4..

On a completely unrelated note, in keeping with my previous cast list, here's my idea for spider-man 4, 5, and 6. As usual each movie starts out with a stylistic recap of the previous story and the same danny elfman theme including a brief introduction to sandman's theme.
4-the movie begins with a voice over and a few brief cutscenes. Harry has left MJ and Peter everything he owns in the will (the reason he was late to the battle at the end of SM3 was because he was changing it). They were tracking down a Russian nuclear arms dealer with an uncanny gift for disguise colloquially known as The Chameleon when they were caught in an explosion. only connors survived, though he lost his arm. being right handed, he never felt whole afterwards, but recognizing peter as mary and richards' son has made him feel like a father figure and that he would like to keep in touch with peter. As peter leaves, connors mixes a tissue sample with a tiny sample of the venom symbiote and reptilian blood and notices strange changes.
Peter and MJ, having reconciled and started living together are enjoying a nice dinner. Peter proposes, MJ accepts. They kiss, when MJ suddenly turns pale. She begins to go seizure and is rushed to a hospital. Blood tests show that she is experiencing toxic shock after repeated exposure and buildup to neurotoxins in her blood only found in spiders. She is released three days later and a disturbed peter promises to seek help.
In desparation, Peter seeks out Dr. Connors and reveals himself as spider-man and explains how he got his powers. Connors' examination finds a poison gland attatched to peters' salivary glands, which he surgically removes. Realizing peters' powers being a freak product of recombinant DNA, Connors notices similar effects using the symbiote as a catalist. He manages to synthisize it and creates a formula using lizard tissue which is capable of regrowing his arm.
Within the next month Connors' discovery makes him world famous but also catches the attention of the chameleon who has been obsessively researching the venom symbiote since the incident in new york. Connors begins to transform into the lizard at night and violently lives out delusional meglomaniacal pursiuts, coming into conflict with spider-man. aunt may also becomes ill. Soon Spider-man realizes the lizard is connors because the symbiote has accelerated the reproduction of reptilian cells beyond what was predicted and also affected his behavior in a way similar to the black suit. Before Peter can stop him, his family is kidnapped by the chameleon and held in a warehouse. In the ensuing battle, connors manages to rescue his family, and using a particular sound frequency ejects the lizard formula from his body, losing his arm in the process. The chameleon is defeated. In the back of the chameleon's lair. Peter finds...Richard Parker!!! alive. Peter's father explains his mother's death and his survival and captivity in a gulag for decades. The movie ends with peter and MJ getting married with Peter's father giving away the bride. The last shot is aunt may looking oddly at Richard...

The Lizard should be depicted pretty much as he has been in all other media, though intelligent, not bestial. kinda like venom in SP3. Connors' lab assistant is a quiet, slightly distrurbed recovering trauma victim who's past is not revealed in 4. His name is Kletus Cassidy, and when he is late taking his medication, he often hears a strange female ethereal being named shriek telling him to commit violent acts.
The chameleon is a small thin man of incredible physical power trained in multiple martial arts he disguises himself constantly as members of his own army of mercinaries and has several decoys. He is not pale and bald but a normal looking russian national who has lived covertly in the United States for several years. His disguise is a mix of actual prosthetics, makeup, and a belt which allows him to curve light, creating holographic costumes. He is a flawless vocal mimic and obsessively studies people before impersonating them. He hopes to weaponize the venom symbiote and use it as an extortion tool in a program he calls "Project Carnage".

You must be crazy. Your idea for a movie sucks! You have to understand that some of the people who are fans of Spiderman are young. Do you really think that they'll care about a scary overgrown lizard? The Spiderman movies have to have popular villains in it in order to attract a crowd. I doubt that the Lizard is that popular. If he does appear in Spiderman 4, he'll just be a temporary threat that would last at most half an hour of the movie. A whole movie based on the Lizard would be trash. Spiderman 4 needs to be about Spiderman, Venom, and Carnage.

What? The lizard is pretty popular. Most kids know more about Lizard than venom because Lizard is probably the first Spidey villain they saw considering they might have grown up with the 90's spiderman, and in that show, Venom showed up in the third season. I think there was about 5 episodes that included venom including the carnage episodes. People know about him here is becuase we see him in the comics.
I didn't really know who Venom or carnage where until a couple of years ago. I spent my life thinking Venom was an evil clone of spidey and that carnage was an evil clone of spidey with worms sticking out of his skin.

Bland fan service=pissing everyone else off and violating the tenants of story telling, for me 4, 5, and 6 (which i'll summerize later), would deal with the chameleon, with peter's parents (who were SHIELD agents in the comics), and will ultimately lead up to huge confrontations with carnage and the scorpion along with an introduction to black cat. It won't be verbatim from the comics, nor should it be because then the movie would essentially sink to unrealistic, crappy fan pandering with no inherent story telling value for anyone who hasn't spent a quarter of his or her paycheck on comics every week for the last two decades.

The Lizard is an ideal villain for part 4. If Carnage is in 4, He wil not be like is the comics, Sony pictures will not, repeat will not put out an R-rated Spiderman film.

It will not be a disaster. With a great story comes a great film. Harry is dead, so having film in a flashback sequence will not hurt the film. The Chamelon in any Spidey film may not work. Bringing in Parkers parents probably will not work either, unlessRaimi feels the need to tell that part of the story. The Black Cat was supposed to have been in 3, but at the last minute taken out, so she might be in 4 or 5.

You underestimate how well known Venom is.Yeah, Lizard is really popular and one of the best known Spiderman villains.But he is a runner up when it comes to Venom.Overall I think we can all agree that the most well known Spiderman Villain is GreenGoblin.But for kids who grew up in the 90's it was all about Venom.That's when Venom got really popular.

5 starts shortly after 4, Richard Parker is temporarily living with Peter and MJ and aunt may's health has taken a turn for the worst. The movie starts out with Spider-man busting a mysterious robbery by a pathetic and theatrical career criminal-Quentin Beck. during the intro voice over, peter comments on how he's getting sick of working the whole city while others stake out territory and stick to it, "especially that crazy horned guy in Hell's Kitchen". He is apprehended, but suspicion is cast when it is discovered that all the loot is missing and spider-man is cast in suspicion. MJ announces she is pregnant while aunt may is hospitalized. In response to the robbery as well as a series of burglaries all over the city, Homeland Security decides that it can't trust vigilantes but knowing that aside from he daily bugle, public opinion still supports spider-man, it instead creates it's own hero using an experimental suit of armor supplied by Oscorp on a soldier named Mac Gargan. The Scorpion is created. On assignment at the bugle, peter photographs socialite Felicia Hardey, heir of her grandfather's vast wealth and daughter of the infamous criminal, the black cat. Spider-man tracks down the criminal responsible for the wave of robberies and discovers it is the black cat, a legendary criminal captured 20 years earlier. They get in a fight, ending in a stalemate but before black cat can escape, its mask is ripped, revealing a long shock of blond hair. This is a different black cat. Peter realizes that this is Felicia. At their next confrontation, the battle is interrupted by the scorpion who uses lethal means to severely injure the black cat. He then clashes with police and mortally wounds Captain Stacey he is disabled by spider-man and he is taken into custody. With his dying breath, Stacey tells Spider-man that he deduced his identity during the sandman affair and to take care of gwen. It is revealed that the scorpion costume was originally designed as a generation 2 goblin suit by norman osbourne and that Gargan is experiencing madness as the result of the suit pumping goblin formula into him. Worse, no one can remove the suit without killing him. The Scorpion escapes, delusional upon seeing hallucinations of Norman Osbourne and seeks revenge on spider-man. Spider-Man visits Felicia Hardy in the hospital and questions her on following her father's legacy. She reveals that she needs money upon being blackmailed by a criminal organization, that of the chameleon. Peter tells her the chameleon's dead and reveals his identity as a token of trust. They make ammends. The Scorpion is watching them unobserved. MJ's friends throw her a baby shower, among them is Gwen Stacey who has reconciled and become a good friend. The party is ruined by the arrival of the scorpion. He mistakes Gwen for MJ and kidnaps her. Peter crosses the hospital to visit aunt may. She dies in his arms, telling him she loves him.
Upon hearing of a hostage situation, a distraught peter puts on his suit in a hospital utility closet and finds the scorpion holding gwen stacey on the same bridge where the goblin held MJ. MJ meanwhile is comforted by Richard Parker. He slams her into a wall, leaving her unconcious and traumatized. Richard reveals himself to be the chameleon and leaves, assuming that MJ is dead. Back at the bridge, the scorpion flings gwen off the side of the bridge. Spider-man tries to snag her with his web like he did MJ but she has already fallen too low and the force snaps her neck in front of the crowd to their horror. Continuing their battle, both spider-man and scorpion beat each other mercilessly. Finally, an enraged spider-man rips gargan out of his armor. Seeing that he is just an innocent under the control of drugs, peter realizes his error as Gargan dies in his arms. Witnessing this brutality, the crowd turns on spider-man who is forced to flee. Finding out that MJ is in a coma peter comes to her side. She wakes up and tells him what happened. He realizes that Aunt May was right to be suspicious. Across town, Dr. Curt Connors quietly exits his office at empire state university before turning back into the chameleon, the test tube containing the remnant of the venom symbiote in his hand. The movie ends with peter, felicia and MJ attending the funerals of gwen and aunt may, the newspapers have branded spider-man a murderer and with the public outcry against costumed heroes reaching a fever pitch, felicia decides to leave for california to start a new life. Peter tells MJ that he must stop the chameleon and that he understands if she leaves him for the safety of her and their unborn child. She refuses.

Like I said, the Lizard isn't popular enough to be the main villain in the movie. If he does appear in the movie, he would only be there for at most half and hour since he really isn't that much of a threat. The most popular villain in the whole Spiderman franchise is Venom! He has been in the most Spiderman games than any other villain. Also, he is the only villain that has been a playable character on couple of games, such as Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. What other villain in the Spiderman franchise has been a playable character in the video games?

It doesn't matter that Venom wasn't in the original rogue gallery. The point is , he became extremely poplular ever since he was first introduced in the 1980s. Oh yeah, New Goblin is playable in Spiderman 3. Now, what games have the Shocker, Carnage, Green Goblin, Black Cat, and Bullseye been a playable character?
you can play as carnage in the nintendo ds version of ultimate spiderman after you complete 80% of the game. other than that he is a final boss in about 5 different games
im pretty sure you cant play as bullseye in any game, could be wrong though

it was an arcade game and she could use a grappling hook and scratch people and such
