You have to face facts that if either Venom or Carnage aren't in Spider-Man 4 they're either going to be in SM-4 or they won't be back at all. As sad as it is, that's the truth. Raimi (being the bastard he seldom is), probably won't allow most fans the satisfaction of having Venom return.

Sam Raimi better put Venom in Spiderman 4. It isn't fair that an extremely popular character had such a short amount of screen time in Spiderman 4. If the Lizard is confirmed, then the Lizard should be the main villain. In other words, Venom would be the villain for the first hour of the movie, basically tormenting and harassing Spiderman. Then when the Lizard eventually releases his lizardmen, Spiderman and Venom have to join forces to defeat this reptilian army. That is how Spiderman 4 should be...
