Who the hell are Michael Angarano and Patrick Fugit?

I am all for an unknown, but they sound like stand-ins for Brokeback Mountain 2. 🙄

Aunt May would have been better. ha-son

Their unknown actors who have in a few films , but nothing compared to the Spiderman franchise. I'm glad Sony is going to give Tobey MaGuire the best offer

Not rolling my eyes at you Bruce. I am hoping Sony actually takes some time this time to find a good person to play Peter this time. Thanks for the info. 🙂

if they could do the job (well) then i see no ill will towards them.

I'm sure they will, but you just can't hire someone too replace someone and not possibly have any sort of consequence. I'm glad their are rumors out there regarding the possible Parker replacement, but also that being said, you still need an excellent story and good acting. I'm sure at this point that the rumored cast choices can give that, while MaGuire can.

They should get james cameron to direct the movies but then again he's busy with his avatar movie.

I know he originally wrote a treatment for his vision of Spider-Man I think its online somewhere and from what I hear he got the Peter Parker/Spider-Man chracter well but lacked in the villains. I think the villains in his script were Electro and Sandman. Here is a little Wikipedia article on it.

Cameron "Scriptment"

James Cameron submitted an undated 47 page "scriptment" with an alternate story [the copyright registration was dated 1991], part screenplay, part narrative story outline. [21]

The "scriptment" told the Spider-Man origin, but used variations on the comic book characters Electro and Sandman as villains. This "Electro" was a megalomaniacal parody of corrupt capitalists. Instead of Flint Marko's sympathetic character, Cameron’s "Sandman" is mutated by an accident involving Philadelphia Experiment-style bilocation and atom-mixing, in lieu of getting caught in a nuclear blast on a beach. The story climaxes with a battle atop the World Trade Center and had Peter Parker revealing his identity to Mary Jane Watson. In addition, the treatment was also heavy on profanity, and had Spider-Man and Mary Jane having sex.[22]

Sex FTW 😱

Well if Toby stays on it's likely that the others will as well.

😱 A Spiderman movie with a sex scene? Wow, that's big jump from a normal family movie.

I read the script, and it was god awful. He made Peter seem like a total creep(spying on Mary Jane while she was undressing in her bedroom), Electro and Sandman were absolutely nothing like their comic counterparts(their names weren't even right), Spider-Man swore(and even said 'f***'😉, Uncle Ben was completely two dimensional, and the webbing was a weird semen-connected substance.

I kid you not.

Are you kidding me? Wow.

Almost any video game nowadays. Hell, 'Ultimate Spider-Man' had a god awful Spider-Man voice.

Well I never played that game so...yeah

If they'd has Jessica Alba doing the sex scene and she was nude then I woulda loved that 😄

Wow, it would be horrible if they made that into a movie.

It would destroy the Spiderman movie franchise.

why electro and sandman, thats just random, at least the sandman/Venom teamup in SM3 happened...for a little while.

Who actually stays up at night checking for video game voice actors? dur

oooh I know...I know the answer...ok is it.....Toku King?

I have no idea, but I wouldn't say that a voice actor makes or breaks a game. 😬

i doubt anyone really listens, to busy playing the game and all.
