I really thought it would be a 2010 release...I guess this is gonna mean that the news on the 4th film won't come as quickly as everyone had hoped

depends i think mostly on the villains, the reason 3 took so long was because of the amount of CGI they had to use.

Well thats mainly cause of Sandman I think

Vemon wasn't Vemon in Spiderman3, they should of hired a buffer person to play Vemon, his head is bigger then the actor body in spiderman3 😆

He had an ok look but he shoulda been bigger yes and the voice was wrong...I along with other people woulda loved to have heard him say 'We are not Brock...WE ARE VENOM!'

especially since it now appears doubtful that Kirsten Dunst will return as Mary Jane Watson.

Tobey Maguire will be donning the red, blue, and black suit once again as Spider-Man, except this time, there’s a catch. Spider-Man 4 and 5 will reportedly be shot back-to-back and because of a potentially grueling schedule, Tobey got a clause worked in to benefit being a father.

According to Times Online, the star will receive $50 million to do the two sequels and a % of the films gross.
