That's good. Give them plenty of time to develop a decent script. Put lots of effort into this one. Make up for the horrible mess that was Spider-Man 3.

i totally agree, they just didn't think spiderman 3 through. I mean cmo'n, they could have left Venom as a cliffhangar.

Leaving venom as a cliff hanger would have been the better choice

I don't think they were going to have a cliffhanger for Spider-Man 3. This was a trilogy. Wrapping up all the loose ends like Harry's story, Peter and MJ sorting themselves out, and final resolution with Uncle Ben's murder.

It all depends on the cast and story.

As long as the movie has a good cast and storyline, then I'll be satisfied.

If we're lucky, her acting skills should've improved since Spiderman 3.

Well, I'm pretty sure she got criticized for her performance in Spiderman 3.

Although I'm sure most of those criticisms were directed at her horrible singing, some of them may have been directed at her overall performance.
