yeah, ant man would be interesting, but i've not heard much about it other than the release date, where as even spider-man 4 has got more detail than that and it's due out the following year

Superhero Hype! is reporting a rumor that Spider-Man actor Michael Papajohn (the carjacker/"original" killer of Uncle Ben) today at Wizard World Philadelphia said that he will be reprising his role for Spider-Man 4. Papajohn wouldn't say what his role entailed.
With the fourth installment not hitting theaters until May 6, 2011, it's anyone's guess at this moment, but weigh in with your thoughts here!

I'm really hoping we get someone like Kraven or maybe even Electro. Raimi has said that TDK upped the ante, and I think for SM-4 to be anywhere near as good we need to have a talking, thinking villain and not someone mindless. I'd love to see the Lizard, but there should probably be another villain added in as well, but then again, I don't want a movie where too much is crammed in.

I think the problem with the previous films is that Raimi has tried to kill off everyone or redeem them before the film ends...he could do the whole 2-3 enemies per movie, but a couple could carry on to another film...make it more interesting, and there'd be less criticism

Honestly I don't see how a SM movie will have TDK status since Venom's dead. Without him, the movie probably won't be that dark. But if they have Carnage, it might happen.

Carnage is a murderer and Sony will not make an "R" rated Spiderman film.. that being said IF and I mean IF Carnage is ever in a Spiderman film he will be worser than Venom was in Spidey 3

we all know venom births carnage, we all know venom dies in SM3...so unless venom gave birth in the 5 seconds we didn't see him it's highly unlikely we'll see carnage at all...unless raimi finds some excuse to bring him in

Maybe the symbiote did give birth to another while inside the meteor. Maybe when we see the beginning of the movie, it'll show a flashback that's set during SM3. After the symbiote leaves the meteor and hops on Parker's bike, a red symbiote will get out of the meteor and latch onto a nearby host. That nearby host is Kassedy. That can work.
