yeah, i was disappointed with the venom persona in the movie...looked too weak and thin and not as sadistic...

whereas we all know comic venom is huge and very strong and is very sadistic

How come Raimi hates symbiotes?

I think it might be because he did'nt grow up with them in the comics.

Only reason Raimi included Venom was cause Sony made him, course that totally ruined it and plus with Raimi disliking Venom. I woulda liked a better voice, build and plus 'We are not Eddie! We are VENOM!'

if raimi didn't like venom, why didnt they get a co-director that did like venom and have him dictate how venom was going to be and let raimi direct the rest of the film...

the voice of venom was lame...why would you just multitrack eddies voice and slighty lower the pitch of one of the tracks...

Sony probably didn't wanna waste time and money to find a co-director just for one character, Venom did suck in the film but he still drew fans, Spiderman 3 did better than 1 + 2 because of Venom...problem was the film sucked and so did Venom. Spiderman 2 is still the best spiderman film imo

well, Alfred Molina portrayed Doc Ock so well it was epic...

although the whole bit about peter falling in love so he couldn't use his powers was a bit lame...but i totally agree, SM2 is the best so far...

and if Sony knew how much more of a reaction they might've got if they employed an independent director for that particular character, i don't think they would've cared too much about a bit more money spent.

It may have held back production of the film as well...tbh all sony cares about is money and what'll make them money 😬

They need to give that shit a rest in the movies Parker and mary jane let him go after Black cat in the next one.

What they need to do is introduce MJ as a vibrant person who can do for herself and isn't mad or down on her luck all the time. The MJ I know from the comics and cartoons is Peter's spirit....almost his guiding light, actually. I want to see that. I want to see Peter come in from a long night of crime fighting and have Mary Jane ask him how it went, and sit there and talk to him. I don't want to hear her ***** over some bad reviews, which is something that would never keep the real MJ down. She's not supposed to be moody and whiny.

In Spidey 4 I think the Villans should be either Venom, Carnage, Kraven, or Lizard. Have Black Cat as a side character.
