Its amazing how much imagination they lack, I can think of loads of stories for future movies. And not ones copied out of the comics.

I know, not to worry I'll just get Aunt May to set him straight. And Tobey ain't the one directing or anything, he and alot of the people doing 3 won't be doing 4 but I'm sure someone else will. And just so we're clear people my thread was originally called 'Spider-man 4?' and then it got joined to another thread called 'there will be a spider-man 4'. So that is why this thread is called 'There will be a spider-man 4'. But my thread came first which is why it says this thread was created by me. Now I have to think up a new RAIMI!!!!

There won't be a Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst etc.

But there will be a Spider-Man 4.

There will be a Spider-Man 4, but most likely with a new cast.

The characters not the actors are the draw of the Spider-Man films. Even to the general public audience. They aren't star-driven features. No one goes to see Spider-Man because it's "Tobey Maguire's new film", or "Kirsten Dunst's new film".

Most of the movie-going public don't know much of Sam Raimi, again he isn't the draw. His leaving would have a significant impact on the franchise, but thus far I've only seen indications in press of him being receptive to do more.

Exactly what I'm saying, when Tobey said there won't be a fourth it may have been possible he was talking on behalf of himself and the other cast. But there is gonna be a fourth for sure...it's a popular movie and makes sony alot of money

A recasting would be interesting to see, though it doesn't always work. I wouldn't mind seeing a different director take his approach. Of course, that doesn't always work, i.e. Brett Ratner and X3.

I think I could play spidey, I can do a perfect RAIMI!!!!!

I could play a good ultimate Spidey. Just need to lose 20 lbs. (185 to 165).

I was able to get through and extremely small window. See I think some of spidey 3 will play out like this.

Harry: Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father
Peter: Harry what are you on about? And my dad died in a plane crash, Aunt May told me

Peter: Why do you have the 'Star wars: The empire strikes back' script? I don't believe this.

lol i think they will end this trilogy here. but then recast most likely and start with a 4. or do my idea and go ultimate spiderman lol

dont worry parker, they will more than likely tie up everything here. (killing off the 3 villains) or at least make them look defeated. and then recast and start with 4. so at least we will have one good trilogy lol
