"Superhero Hype! has learned exclusively from a very reliable source that Spider-Man screenwriter David Koepp is in talks with Sony Pictures to write Spider-Man 4!
Our source tells us that the studio is really excited about Spider-Man 3 after having seen a first cut of the movie. Add to that the phenomenal reaction to the screenings of footage at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and the momentum leading up to this point from last summer's Comic-Con, which have sparked the studio to approach Koepp about penning the fourth film's screenplay.
Koepp is not signed yet, but the studio is definitely moving forward with another installment.
Keopp recently finished the script for Indiana Jones 4 which received the green light from George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford. Besides the first Spider-Man movie, he has written such blockbusters as War of the Worlds, Jurassic Park, Panic Room, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and Carlito's Way.
The first two "Spider-Man" films earned $1.6 billion dollars total worldwide. Spider-Man 3 kicks-off the summer on May 4."
I really don't think Venom is going to be much of a villain for Spider-man in the third film but rather just Eddie's origin into becoming Venom. I think that seen everyone has been going on and on about is just the end of the movie wear Eddie joins with the symbiote and becomes Venom. Kinda a teaser for a fourth movie.
Oh and I am happier than shit that Harry will be the Goblin in this one. I have been praying for him to become the next Green Goblin since I first saw the end of 2 in theaters!

2. Why would you want him to. His death and ending were perfect thou not exactly in character.
3. Four will be Venom. I just know it and I would be very very pissed if they tried to put him all the way in 3.
I still refuse to believe that. I mean, if all THREE villains die, then what would be the point? I mean, Harry has to die, that's a given. Sandman should be locked up in prison (for a change), and Venom should escape (much like the end of the Ultimate Spider-Man game). I don't want him to return for four, but I would like him to survive.
For four, they should... wow, I was going to say bring in the Kingpin, but I forgot they already did that in Daredevil. Damn.
Anyway, I doubt that Brock will die, but of course I've doubted Ock and been proven wrong before.

Venom did not kill sandman in the comics, he just severly injured him. Will sandman be the first bad guy to survive a movie?
