"Don't touch, why do I always forget that..." Shadow says rhetorically, following Jim out into the forest.

Jim walked along the path he knew was to the nearest city, which apparently had mutant camp in it. Eventually they got to the city and Jim heard sirens, not just police cars, but also an alarm he knew had to be from the camp.
"Sounds like trouble started without us." Jim said.

Zack stirred from his position in the branches of the tree. He'd been sleeping rough for the best part of a week, avoiding other people, and leading the occasional military sweeps further away from where he split with Shadow and Jim. But now he heard voices he recognised, and quietly crept through the branches from tree to tree until he could see the small party in the woods below.

"I have a feeling we are being watched." Jim turned invisible and traced his step backwards looking around, but no one was there. He sighed and just told himself it was just his stupid conscious as he turned back to visible.

Zack let out a whoop and dropped downwards, landing on Jim's back and carrying him to the ground. Laughing, he rolled off, standing up to face his old friend.

"Did you have to do that, that hurt," Jim said and couldn't help but to smile. He pulled himself off the ground and wiped off any dirt he saw on himself. "As you can hear, there is trouble, you willing to help?" Jim asked.

Justice looked at the mutant "do as you wish,and if you have not noticed we are out of the camp.Yes they are .I have to find them,thats all i really care about now."

Karen looked out from behind the guy she tapped on, she heard a familiar voice. She was right, it was Justice.
"Hey Justice, been awhile" She said smiling and stepped to the side.

"who do you have to find, Justice?"

"my ....Karen! Is it really you? but how?wheres Shadow and Jim along with everybody else?"

"We got separated last time we escaped a camp, remember, so I have been searching for them and ended up here." Karen answered frowning. "I don't know when I will be able to use my power, last thing I remember is trying to get a guy to help me attack this camp..."

"my powers with be out some for some time also.So what do we do?"Justice moved next to her"As you can see some of them may be harder to handle then others"

Zack collapsed to the floor, throwing out his hand in an attempt to knock Jim to his feet. The sudden lack of power shocked him to silence, and he could only watch as Jim swung the gun to aim at Shadow, but the look of betrayal and pure hatred was on clear on his face.

"mmm,if i could fly i could tell.i think west"

"I have a question," Eli said. "How exactly are we gonna bust out of here without any powers. I mean, I'm a fairly decent fighter in hand-to-hand combat, but they have guns."
