"Jim and myself camped out in a cave over there," Shadow gestured vaigly, "Although if he was working for them......"

"Like I had any communication with them!" Jim proclaimed.
"Then I guess we should find a different place, if you put it that way..." Karen said. She could feel tears trying to break out, she attempted to hold them back, but one tear did drop and she looked away.

Shadow heaved up Jim to stare him in the eyes, "Well considering you just shot at two of us, why should we believe you?"

When Eli caught up with the group he was with, he noticed that there were a few people who weren't with them before.

"Who are these guys," he asked feeling his powers slowly coming back.

"Friends," Shadow said, not taking his eyes of Jims.

"Where'd that gun come from? Isn't that a the kind of gun they give you the shot with?"

Eli was burning on the inside. If these people broke him out just to send him back, he was going to kill every single one them.

"How many times have I saved your arse?" Jim said glaring at Shadow and then he looked over at Karen. "Karen please...trust me."

"I don't remember..." Shadow said, his grip loosening slightly, his mind wasn't working properly...

"Glad you cought up Eli, but we need to cut the talking and keep moving..." Karen said as she turned into a wolf and ventured deeper into the forest.

Shadow shoved Jim forwards, "Move! I'll be three steps behind you, you even think of running..."

"I want to know what the gun is doing here! I can't go back to that camp. I won't go back to that camp. Somebody, please, tell me what's going on."

Eli didn't even care that he sounded scared anymore. He just wanted to know what was going on. But seeing that no one was going to answer him any time soon, he just followed them. He was eagerly awaiting for the return of his powers.

He had an hour and a half.

"No need to shove, damn it." Jim said. The group walked on for about what seemed like an hour. Soon they found an abandoned shack with a stream to the side.
"This looks okay for now." Karen said once she turned back into herself. "Eli, Jim, my brother, has betrayed us and shot Shadow and Zack," She motioned to the three boys as she said their name then she smiled and rested a hand on Elis' shoulder. "Don't worry you won't go back to them camps."

"We need to find some ropes, tie up the....prisoner..." Shadow said, he moved towards Karen, and whispered in her ear, "How are you coping with all this?"

He didn't know why, but those words comforted Eli.

"I'm sorry, Karen. I'm just on edge after being cooped up in that camp for almost a year; having no contact with anyone, other the MP that so happened to torture me everyday," he said. "And having my powers taken away, too."

Karen bowed her head and answered "I need to be alone for a while..." She walked off a little past the shack and stood by the stream.
"I still don't think you should even talk to my sister." Jim said as he sat down, well aware that Zack would shoot him if he tried anything. "They will always hunt you, Eli, no matter where you go, they will find you." Jim smirked

Shadow looked down at his feet, whispering "I'm sorry Karen..." He looked up and nodded at Zack, before charging at Jim, grabbing him by the collar and throwing him against one of the walls of the hut, "How long have you been working for them!?"

"Good question," Jim said staring blankly at Shadow. "Tell me, how long did you work for them, until you could gain control over yourself again?" Jim recalled back to the last time they were captured.

"I didn't.......I......I always had control..........I still do!" Shadow said oushing Jim harder against the wall, "How long have you been working for them!?"

"When they saved my life." Jim answered firmly. "You guys didn't do anything...just ran...I could hear Karens scream for me.."

Shadow let go of his grip on Jim, "When.........we never.....we never left you......?"
