"Man's probably more appropriate at the minute actually," Shadow said clutching his aching body.

Shadow raised his fist again, he moved forwards as if he went to hit Jim, but then said, "Some brother you must be."

Jim kicked Shadow in who knows where. "What did you say!"

~Ouch, Jim really is evil~

Shadow collapsed to the floor in pain, he looked up at Karen, "I'm sorry...sorry you had to live with this guy for so long..."

"I didn't live with him that long thanks to my parents divorce." Karen said angrily and tackled Jim, he already done enough pain to Shadow.

"Thank you..." Shadw said, he tried to stand, but his hand slipped in the mud and he hit the ground again.

Karen punched Jim, which seemed to have knocked him out. She stood up and went over to Shadow to help him up.
"Why didn't you phase..." She said frowning.

"Oh, very droll," Zack said, "I'll tell you what, this is what we're going to do: you're going to walk in front of me and show me which direction they went in."

"If I phase I die..." Shadow said, struggling to his feet. "Well die faster. Apparently it's one of the safeguards those *******s put into place to ensure my loyalty last year in New Jersey. Every time I use my power some of my energy is drained, and I'm down to six months, without my powers. If I use them, I could be dead within a month..." A tear rolled down his cheek, "So either I go quickly as a mutant or I live for as long as possible without my powers and try and find another way to get the cu..." He cut off, wishing he could take back the last thing he said.

Karen looked down to the ground.
"No..." She said queitly and looked back up and into his eyes. "Shadow, what do you mean 'find antoher way to get'....to get what?"

"how about you make me you wimp"[Jack did not like how this was going so he was just going to end this fast.He looked around for objets nothing but trees and what was this guys powers.]

Shadow slipped again, "A little help?" He asked, raising a hand, "and forget I said anything. I'm delerious, the pain and all that. It was nothing, really."

Karen helped Shadow back up again, apologized, and made it stop raining.
"So what are you supposed to do....when we attack another camp, or get captured.."

"I'll think of that when I need to, at the minute we should be fine. After all, they have no way of knowing where we are - right?" Shadow said, trying to pull off his cocky grin again.

"It's the government, they apartly know exactly where we go..." Karen sat down in the mud, she was scared. "Can we head to this abanded city you speak of? I could really use a shower and a nice place to sleep, plus I see you have new clothes on."

"I thought that it was time for a change, I've had those clothes for too long, they were old, covered in blood and mud. I'll take us all there. Even him..." Shadow indicated Jim, "I'm...uh....I'm sorry I kissed you...I was scared, I should have asked first...."

"No, its ok....I uh...liked it." Karen stood back up and smiled.

~I'm just going to jump in with both of my characters.~

Eli saw a little girl behind a tree smiling.

"Uh, excuse me, who are you?"

"Oh. I'm Talia. I came here with Shadow but was scared to meet you guys. Who are you,"Talia asked.

"I'm Eli. Come in."
