It's May now, 1-June, 2-July, 3-August, 4-September, 5-October, 6-November and 7-December.
So yes 7 months is correct.

They make games to make money. And they release them at the beginning of the year usually so taht their fiscal year is nice and heafty. Companies don't operate on the same calender as the public. Tatoo is basically saying that if they release it, more then likely the thing wont be when they say it is because as of now theres too few months left and they will probably wait till next year or something.
If the game comes out i think like many of the games i've played in thsi genere it will probably be too complicated for normal people to play. I mean civilization is complicated and RTS games are rather complicated; when you splice them your going to get soem crazy crud 😛

I'm not disputing the fact that there are 7 months left in '07, I'm asking what that has to do with this game since there is at least 10 months until the game is released. 🙂

She's/He's saying that in the past games have been released earlier than their claimed released dates and being that there are 7 months left in the year, that leaves plenty of room for that exact thing to happen in "Spores" case. The possibility of it being released earlier than its release date in 2008.

It seems this game is coming along nicely, nice to know that we aren't limited to only creating our creatures, but that we can also customize all vehicles, spaceships and buildings.
