Red wine Saturday

Okay okay, not as fun-sounding as Whiskey Thursday I admit, but I'm going round to my mom and dads tonight with "her indoors" for a meal and I know for a fact that he's got a secret stash of red wine which I'm gonna give a bloody good bashing.

*Mech stands up, arms aloft and yells*

Getting drunk for free ROCKS! 😄

a new alcoholic beverage-celebration for each day, eh?
AA, please!😄

Red, red wine it makes me feel so fine!! Mech a good Brummy should beat Finti to this one!!!

So what's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday? 😂

recovery days.

My ass it is,

Sunday - Pub on the afternoon before dinner
Tuesday - Cans in the house day
Wednesday - Cans in someone elses house day
Friday - Get shteamin' day, in my book

Monday is the only recovery day an upstanding alchohlic needs. 😉

I need to get on your schedule.

what about thursday? make sure you know the other person whos house it is on wedsday or else it could be cans in your cell day.

Err Scrappy, it's Whiskey Thursday, as mentioned in Mechs post!!!!

He's still a new guy, Corran. We'll have to educate him on Whiskey Thursday. 😉

Right then, looking forward to Thursday already!

It would probably help if he read all the previous Whiskey Thursday threads. He's gone to see TPM without seeing the OT. See, if you look hard enough, everything in life relates directly to SW. 😎

Or if he'd just read Mechs initial post in this thread!!!

That would have helped too. 😎

I didn't have red wine on saturday. I drank a whole pitcher of strawberry daquari's myself !!

I had beer from 8:00PM on Friday until 5:00AM on Saturday, so I didn't much feel like drinking on Saturday, I think Mechs Red wine idea would have been a good'un though!

I like Sangria too. A big pitcher with lots of alchohol-absorbing fruit in it !

If it's got alcohol in it I'll like it!

We usually get Sangria when we go to a mexican restaurant. They put cherries in it and slices of orange and stuff...then you eat the fruit while you're drinking the wine. If you like sweet wines, you'd like it.

Thanks for that, I do know what Sangria tastes like, I had in Tenerife many seasons gone by!!

We also make spiked watermelons...ever have one of those ?
