Chocolate originated in the monasteries of Spain so you'd think the best chocolate would be Spanish.

I think you will find it was in South America WAY before it was in Spain.

And then the Spanish, who colonised much of South America, nicked the idea and brought it back to Europe

But it was the Belgians who made it into eatable stuff, before that it was coco (hot beverage)
