I believe that, unless, of course, it happens to be a game with a lousy ending like the new one for PS2, Rule of Rose. The game is good, great actually, but the ending threw me far far away...now I'm suddenly with the jedi in some weirdo galaxy.

Story: JB has been part of a gang in his whole life. He recently dropped out of high school, and when the leader of his gang died, he took over. He led a robbery into a science laboratory. He had heard the experiments there had led to the amazing discovery of a chemical that would make the perfect human. After they had dismantled the security system, and JB was going to be lowered in through a hole in the roof, but something went wrong. The gang was not sure who was going to the hold the rope. JB fell into the mixture, and he came out unconscious. The gang feared he was dead, and left him there. When he woke, he was in the hospital with police surrounding him. He was taken to jail, and was overwhelmed by bitterness against his so called "friends" who had deserted him. That night, he felt himself grow stronger, and had the urge to escape. He pulled the bars over his window apart and jumped four stories down. Miraculously, he was unhurt. By the morning he had tunneled below the electric barbed wire fence, and was free. Now, after two months, he has learned to develop not only his strength, but his reflexes and senses, and now goes out into the world to use his powers, for better or for worse.
