He hates when they fight but it's nothing much he can do, so he just watches them. Him and Rin seem to be very good friends. It is also said that his Father made one more sword embedded with the Elements.

Tyler would be Kate's great great great grandfather at this point, so he's long gone, and unlike Ice, Tyler doesn't have the option of returning to Earth. But about my new villain, he's going to be awesome, I think how he came to be is the best part of it though.
