Sure, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer it...my own successes/failures at GIMP so far have been rather random and based on whether or not my experimenting turns out well.

ill ask here: when i start up GIMP. the layers page doesnt come up. why is this and how can i remedy the situation? and the thread is up, btw.
