That it did, well it depends on who attacks first, since Guardian's "battle suit, as Chris Claremont dubbed it, works almost like an artificial Magneto". Guardian can get past his shield by learning the frequency it is held and surpass it just like he has done against alien shields, Dr.Doom's, and a few others. He can take Magneto out with one hit and vice versa as well.

Many also don't know is Mac has a computer for a brain, so when it comes to battle tactics...Guardian has him.

Guardian backs enough power to take down Galactus, when both the Avengers and Alpha Flight fought him thanks to the modifications from the Qwrlln.

That's Guardian's other name. He first went by Weapon Alpha, then Vindicator, then Guardian, back to Vindicator then to Anti-guard; then back to Guardian.
Galactus was weakened in another dimension and couldn't do most of his cosmic blasts, but still had his physical power. Qwrlln were scared of Galactus and made Mac their secret weapon against him. After that blast, Galactus didn't get back up the fight was over.
Sidenote: the one who Galactus was holding was Mac's wife who wears the same electromagnetic suit as him, until he became a cyborg and his abilites were different. For many years after Mac sent himself through the time portal many thought he died, so she took up his mantle and went by Vindicator, then to Guardian and then back to Vindicator.

That's bad ass. Anyone who could beat Galactus could beat Magneto, it seems. Whether or not that PIS, or a representation of an average remains to be seen. I'll sit back and let others who know both characters participate. Is there a respect thread or more info about him?

I still say it could go either way, it all depends on who attacks first. Here is the Galactus fight, but not all the scans. Of course Galactus was no where near 100%

This is pathtic, mages absorbs all of macs powers and leaves him where he is. Mag is no ware in the same league as Mags let alone Gal. That pic of guardian takeing down Gal was total PIS to the max and should be put in the thread about Victims of PIS/CIS. Serously the guy was taken out by north star.

Bah! Alpha Flight tends to job ALOT. They will be appearing in New Avengers #16 and their going to battles aliens that gained all the mutant powers that the mutants on Earth lost. This is suppose to be the last Alpha FLight battle. Some think it means they will be killed off and others things it will just be a name change, and they join the other Avengers book that is being released.
Yep blackholes, reverse blood flow, Excalibur, sha-bam... the works.

Mac can also absorb electromagnetic blasts as well as sonics and send them back twice over. This is Heather doing the trick, but same thing since it;s the same suit. Here she gets attacked from behind and takes a full blast from Klaw and still beats him.

Him being taken out by Northstar was PIS, due to Mac told him how to take apart the suit when they were in Alpha FLight together and that's how he beat him...uh huh. Mac was rebuilt into a cyborg to take on Galactus, I don't think it's PIS since Galactus was weakened and no where near his full power.

Electromagnetic field like Magneto, his suit taps into it. However, it has power packs that store energy from absorption that can be used. Here he lets out all of his power in a blast, but then he recharges in a seconds but he is still flying and has his shield up
