He's one of the good guys, so he hasn't been shown to do something like destroy a city. Or do you mean the distance he can attack at? If so, it was never clearly stated.

would mags be able to block mac from using the earth electro magnitic field. I agree with you now king about the whole first hit thing and it would seem like mac is ideal for taking out superman. But I would still like to explore some more of mags options. Also you are absolutly right about alpha jobing a lot every time I've ever seen them they job. But that's because I have only seen them in other x-titles

Truthfully I honestly don't know. Magneto once hit Heather with a blast, when she just got the EM suit. She had no idea at this time to use it and was actually going to the X-Mansion to ask Wolverine to train her. Magneto didn't know and attacked her, knocking her out. That's the only thing that comes to mind when they have come somewhat face to face. Naaaa..Superman would beat him by a speedblitz or something.
Oh yeah Mags has a wide variety of abilities, he is no way a one trick pony. Mags would probally get the advantage in this fight, but it could go either way.
Edit: Another thing I just learned recently about Guardian. Once Mac learns a frequency of a telepathy he can block the attacks, protecting everyone in the area.
