Well said. There is plenty of better movies than Saw II.

But yeah Hostel looks cool... reminded me of The Running Man for some reason when I read the plot... good ol' Arnie!

Saw II is not my favorite movie. I said it was better than the first, which it was, by a longshot!! I love horror movies and to me horror is being scared and seeing some blood. I don't really think Saw I or II were horror movies. Just suspense dramas with a little blood. Friday 13th, ANOES, Halloween, TCM, The Shining, Day Of The Dead, Evil Dead II, etc. Now that's horror.

The idea is from a website that Eli Roth stumbled upon that claimed you could go on a "torture vacation" for $10,000. You could "torture" someone and stuff. It was probably just a rollplaying thing, though. He basically took the idea and ran with it.
