Panic! At The Disco

They are one of those bands that people say are good to just "Have fun" listening to.

Aka: They're shit, but I like them anyway.

Good, simple, fun music doesn't have to be shit music, I think the people who like this band forget that.

The sufjan stevens titles are not as irritating as the PATD titles, maybe because I actually like his music. Still slightly annoying though,

I'd say it's because his are good, theirs aren't.

They're painful live but they have a couple of catchy tunes.

I can't stand em.

They are incredibly catchy, but then so are herpes.

I think Morrisey and the Smiths are responsible for all of these EMO bands using massively long and pretentious song titles.

Thank Morrissey and the Smiths for the band's name while you're at it.

Two people on this page have previously said that the band are "pretty decent", and "Decent.".

Only to now call them "painful" and say they "can't stand them".

Panic? I quite strongly dislike them.

Absolute garbage, IMO.

I've got a weird ebb and flow when it comes to new bands I discover, however P!ATD, I'm still pretty keen on.

a-melodic trash bags, they are.

I guess opinions are rendered over time.

Umm... ewwww, gross. Why is there even a thread on Panic?

innocent question.

i keep hearing Panic's song on the radio, and it has the lines.. 'exactly where you want me to be' or something.. can anyone tell me its title?

That's "But It's Better If You Do".

oh. okay. thanks.

well, im not overly keen on them, but ive got a mate who thinks they are living bloody saints!it bugs the hell outta me!

Oh I know...

one of many recent overrated, crummy groups...while I'm on that train of thought, where's the "My Chemical Romance" thread...oh boy...

Just because a band has a lot of fans doesn't mean they're overrated. I, personally, can appreciate the uniquity of their music, unlike a good 75% of their fans.

Besides, music being "overrated" is subjective, because who's an authority? Someone may have a knack for being continually "good" at perceiving a band and their music, but in the end, it's all opinion.
