I mean Imagine being whipped, stripped naked, and nailed to a tree, with no food or water, for hours. You cry for something to drink, and they give you a sponge full of vinegar. They spit at you, they curse you, and then you finally die.
You know what truly sickens me? That you are allowed this thread, saying that a whole faith is, as you so kindly put it, PURE CRAP. but if I started a thread saying the story was absolutely true, it would probably be closed within an hour.
And when people try to close Cristian clubs, or shut us up in the halls, but when beople, like you, say that it is exactly false... or Pure crap... people say nothing.
People say we are forcing our faith on them, but I see the exact opisite. People are trying to destroy us, and our faith.

im assuming u believe in origina sin, which is why u have so much loathing of everything includin ur own self. if u read carefully, i said CHRISTIANITY was the problem, i dont really hate the followers theyr just innocent victims who were given no choice from birth to being brainwashed. the reason people try to shut up nonesense about christianty being true n all is that unlike VERY recen time{and only still in very few places of the earth} have christians ever been the VICTIMS, the church and the relegion have an almost unsurpassed legacy of cruelty, mindwashing, bloodshed and shutting anything other than their point of view up. think about the long history in comparison to very recent and confounded events which are often exagerated. take that {and i havent even started on the othr things} into account before u start with ur self righteous crap. what jesus went through many humans STILL go through and many, MANY have been through worse, if u dont wanna accept that fact then thats ur problem.

Second, no one is saying we shouldn't try to better ourselves, but we are saying we shouldn't praise a God we can't prove and pobably does not exist. If you think we should praise God then please provide proof he does indeed exist.
Now, we don't know if Jesus gave us life so don't say that unless you've got something to back it up with, either way why the hell should we not curse him? He's dead, we're not hurting his feelings.
And yeah, if you did start a thread saying how true Christianity is it would most likely be closed or merged, since there are thousands of other threads like that, having said that I think this thread should be closed as well...
And we are not trying to destroy you we simply want to limit your power, because you people generally do not believe in separation of church and state. Your faith tells you being gay is immoral, no same-sex marriage, your faith tells you abortion is immoral, no abortion. Well **** that... Stop trying to push your believes into everyone, we don't force you to not believe in God, we just force you to keep that God of yours and his teachings in your own homes and churches.

Well, not all parents. My father is a complete Atheist, my mother a very liberal Catholic. Myself and my siblings were always taught not to just accept, but to think and follow the path we believed to be right. As a consequence while I learned about both Atheism and Catholicism, neither were expected of me.

Not ALL parents but most.
Then there are the parents who bring their kids along and knock on your door at 6:30 a.m. (Yes I have had Christians do this, not just Jehovah's witness's) asking you "Have you found Jesus yet?" I am always tempted to just say "Yeah he is in the back drinking a beer, why you want to talk to him?"
Yes, I know my sense of humor is bad but oh well.
