Here's what I'm going to do. I'll PM someone who I know, but who knows nothing about sigs (there's plenty of members who never leave the comic section that I could do this with). I'll simply have them arrange our names in a random order....that will determine all matchups. 1 will play 16, 2/15, etc.

Here's the rules. They're still open to change, but this is the basic structure we'll be working from....
Rules:
Round 1: Contestants will receive a “theme” about which they must make their sig, rather than a render. Limits will be 450x150 and 50KB.
Rounds 2-3: Normal signature duel format. A render will be provided for each match. Size requirements may vary based upon the judges’ discretion.
Final Battle: Will be a best of 3 style battle. One will be a signature based upon a render given by the judge. We will use KMC limits (30KB) for this signature. Another will be an avatar, size limit 100x100 (the Mod limit) and 15KB. The avatar must work thematically with the signature, though the same render does not have to be used. The final aspect of the battle will be another signature based upon a broad theme given by the judge. This signature can be up to 400KB in file size, but must still adhere to 450x150.

Feel free to PM Mungi if you feel like confirming his random ordering. I think he got confused and put Master and Naresh as 2 different names. But fortunately they were still next to each other in his list, so I just deleted the comma that seperated them. That's the only (slight) adjustment. And I obviously didn't tamper with it or anything, or else I certainly wouldn't be facing TOH.
The rules for the tourney are higher up on this page. Two matches will be posted at a time, then two more once those are finished. And I'd like to invert the match order so that I can judge the first matches. So choosewisely/Ken and Honda/Amity will be first, then we'll move up the brackets from there. I'll be judging those two, then will bring in some guest judges. Barring any protests from participants, matches will start tomorrow (Wed.) but there'll be probably 48 hours allotted for each match.

Here's a thought.
For the round 1 losers (I'm not conceding defeat yet...I'll be going down swinging) but here's an idea. We'll have the finals match at the end, and I think it would be cool to have a 3-4 match then too. But how about having a battle royale for the round 1 losers (8 of them), and letting the winner of that into the 3-4 match, for the chance to be 3rd?? Some extra dueling, but it might be fun.
