He's a good sig maker. If your going aginst him, I'm sorry...

who is Amity?

Me!

Sweet... This'll be tough....

can't wait though... I'm making a 360 sig right now..

I'll be extending the time limit to 72 Hours. Since there isn't a render, just a "theme" given, this will give participants extra time to search for their own stuff before beginning a sig.

im against him 🙁 ill be out in the first round! im crap with gimp, ok with picasa and ok with paint. im not good with anything! *sobs uncontrollably*

Just practice lots. Two weeks ago, DW and myself couldn't make a decent sig to save our lives. We're still a ways from the veterans (Ken, TOH, and the like) but you can make up a lot of ground in a hurry.

Yea... I'm starting to get better. I need to learn how do Filters right... and brushes...

yea look at me at first i was lameazoid, now check out my sigs , not tooo shabby

I'm not a brush person i play round til i get wat i like

is the KMC sig limit: 450x150 pixels and 30kb?

Yep.

ok, thanks. i made this using gimp, paint and picassa.

Nice pac. Simple as heck, but polished and stylish. And the 3-way action (gimp, paint, and picassa) is funny too. 😛

yeah, its threesome! i dont know how to put shadows on gimp, so i just did it again, but in black. how does it come off?

...that's....actually...a really good idea *runs off to try it*

Looks fine. I wouldn't have known that it wasn't a shadow unless you told me.

my idea? good? 😱! im glad it looks good, i was worried it wouldnt be visible enough.

I've done that before, for shadow effects, make a duplicate layer in a different color ✅ it can work quite well.

yeah man! is there really no way to make actuall shadows, though?

In gimp? I really don't know. Check the tutorial sites in the resources thread.

thanks. i find gimp similar to photoshop. are there any gothic brushes anyone knows of?
