I'd really like to know how. Even some who think Terry'd win seem to think Iori's got more raw power. Terry's got more experience, but seeing as though Iori's no slouch in the h2h department either, I don't see how that's going to be a factor.

Actually it has nothing to do with his attitude....though those badass types can get pretty boring.You stated how Iori and Kyo get a bad rep here...well thats just it...just Killermovies. Iori is Idolized everywhere by fanboys and fangirls. People whore him to death at the acracdes. He is already the most popular KOF character.

As well just because one has, raw power, does not make them superior or better fighter which alot of people think(not saying you specifically)

Actually it's not a good reason. People in the arcade tend to whore Iori to death especially with half circle back combo which they do over and over. Maxima is a good character to use though.

I dont really consider ryo as an 'overlookable character'.. he does one of the largest ki blasts in the game... you need a superjump to get over it if you dont have the right groove.. zanretsuken is also great anti air..
jumping overhead chop is also another fave
however.. gameplay aside.. I havent seen much of him cinematic or cutscene wise in terms of feats.. he did punch pretty fast in his Mi or Mi2 intro though, where he's doing some formal karate before the match starts
