What exactly do you mean by "take on"? 'Cause when you think about it, Sean can take on Shina Akuma and Orochi @ the same time. Dan can take on Bison. Shingo can take on Gill and so on and so forth. "Take on" is very vague. Who do you think would win between Terry and G. Rugal?

Okay first thing is why did you quote The Terry/Andy and Ryu/Ken statement when it had nothing to do with "take on"?. See the thing is when I think some one will win I state it such as "I think Terry will win" OR "Stalemate"....or that "Terry will lose"

I think Terry has the potentinal to give G. Rugal a fight...but that does not mean he is going to win. Take him on would be much different than take him.....If I stated that Terry could take him, I would already be assuming that he could beat Rugal. So most likley Terry would lose but he would not get bashed quiclky such as Shingo, and whatnot.

G. Rugal vs. Terry and Ryu.... and you say he has a chance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! 😆 🤣 First off, hell no. God Rugal is at least as powerful as Shin Gouki, if not more. And 2nd, Serious Mr. Karate is not in the same league as God Rugal and Shin Gouki. Omega Rugal, who was weaker than god, took on almost the entire KOF 95's roster, and only lost because the orochi power made him self-destruct.

This whole rugal and gouki pairing is crap IMO,When snk starts treating their hieracrhy with respect and stops letting weaker characters job them, then we can talk.

Blue Mary is Terry's girl. The others don't exist as far as I know.

No, the movies have nothing to do with the game. And Terry's girl at this point is probably Blue Mary.

As for Rugal, he fought several fighters as well as the japan team. Saisyu Kusanagi, a few other teams, and the japan team. Kyo didn't beat Rugal by himself, it was a team effort. And yes, Rugal self destructed, but who knows how strong he would have been if he could control the orochi power? And btw, read a page or two back. There's some evidence Rugal may be alive.

Btw, there is a little known Art of Fighting anime. Not everyone is in it, but it features most of the mainstays like King, Big, Todo and the kyokugens.

Finally, the reason the CVS series is not being renewed is two fold. One, SNK has some legal issues to finish up from that period of time. And two, Capcom screwed them on the last 2. Capcom got almost all the revenue from the CVS series. the SNK produced SVC series was garbage. It would be great to see a new CVS game, but SF and KOF need to renew their rivalry. And that means we need SF4 and KOFXII to get made and ported to the PS2 or PS3. **** Xbox. KOFXI is the revival of the old glory of SNK, in terms of gameplay. True, the story still sucks balls, but at least it's not NESTS. There's alot to hope for from SNK-Playmore.
