Where did you get those from? The second one is from the cover of the issue. The other one must have been a variant cover that never made print.

During that fight Blade makes a comment on how his opponent has vampire strength backing up his blows. That implies that this fight occurs before Blade himself aquires vampire powers, which makes it even more impresessive.

Yea, Blade was not suppose to have vampiric powers when these fights occured. But that apparently has been retconned. That's why I don't reference it anymore.

Well according to Guggenheim Blade was to be involved in 2 out of 3 of his upcoming Marvel projects. So far only one of those have been started and that's Marvel Comics Presents. This MI 13 book isn't written by Guggenheim. So if I'm adding this up correctly Guggenheim still has another Blade related project yet.

Nothing spectacular happened. Blade just evaded Thing's attack and tap danced on his head it looked like. He does have a nifty marksman feat in the second one. He's pretty damm good at tossing his knives.

Ah I see, thanks for clarifying. You're right about the retcon BTW.

I noticed in the Thing fight, that one woman calls Blade 'Wesley.' Nice little touch.

I'm not a big fan of the retconn. But oh well.

And the lady's name is Stacy Dolan. She's been calling him 'Wesley' alot in the series. The last time she did it Blade said if she did it again he was gonna kill her. I thought it was a nice touch though.
