Respect Blade

Blade saves Spider-Man's Aunt May and Uncle Ben during their honeymoon, so around 50 years ago or so:

Shows some reflexes as he catches two stakes that were tossed at him by Ogun Strongs Vampire hunters(who rival Blade), then puts them to their knecks impressing them in the process:

Blade ducks under point blank gunfire then slices the vamps gun-hand off:

Then he grabs the vamp and with one hand tosses him up and over a fairly high fence displaying his superhuman strength:

Tosses a silver spike that he concealed in his sleeve with pinpoint accuracy even with his back to his opponent:

Blade stating he's immortal:

Shows some balls by not backing down from Luke Cage:

Easily evades machine gunfire. Notice how far he is from the car when the vamp opens fire:

Good stuff snoop. Blade if anybody deserves a respect thread.

do you have any more scans from blade meeting the black panther, I got the meeting but I couldn't find the second part

Nothing major went down. He did save his @ss again though iirc. They just teamed up with Cage, Vodoo, and Photon tot ake down some vamps.

his best feats seemed to have come from one series, he moves so fast time slows for him he lifts tons, and fights some of his toughest enemies..his weakest showings seem to be in his new series

His last series was more story related than action. His best feats were ripping Draconis' head off, taking down Spidey, and besting Dracula in h2h combat, and taking down some Doombots. The Wolverine fight had potential to be friggin' awesome but turned out to suck. That was mostly due to the bad art.

yeah, but since his series is ended, he doesn't have many more feats does he?

Well I don't think he's had any appearances since then, but it's been only two months. But supposedly he will be making some appearances in the future.

Could there be a new, reworked version of Marvel's Blade headed to the big screen? Initially, the thought of a Blade franchise reboot sounds kind of crazy, but when you think about it, the first film in the series is already almost 10 years old. And with the later films in the franchise becoming increasingly cheesy, maybe it's not a bad idea.

The Bloody-Digusting.com website reports that just such a move is being plotted right now in Hollywood. A source for the website contends that the "comic property" (we assume this means Marvel and/or the creative team currently working on the comic) is pushing for the redo rather than New Line, who may or may not be involved.

Marvel is currently attempting to relaunch the Hulk franchise in a similar fashion, which could have them feeling their oats and looking for other stale properties to freshen up. The Blade do-over chatter could also be fueled by the hot-as-fire vampire movie trend that just won't let up (see Underworld 3).

- New Line

Blade: Trinity was likely Snipes' swan song.

Were there a new school version of Blade launched, Wesley Snipes would undoubtedly be replaced in the lead role. Who would you like to see fill his shoes? And what do you think of the Blade reboot whole idea in general?

I saw in the Marvel solicits for March that Blade will be featured in Marvel Comics Presents. Don't know the story though.

Well I have not been reading so I will not be familiar with the story but when Blade appears I will read it for sure.

Blade isn't afraid of Ghost Rider:

Throws two daggers at the same time and knocks a gun out of one hand and a flashlight out of the other:

Again throws two daggers and pins this guy to the wall by his pants:

Senses a supernatural threat:

Johnny Blaze attempts to shoot Blade with some Hellfire. Blade reacts by shooting some stakes into the barrel causing a little backfire:

Blocks some gun-fire by using a chain!:

Little scuffle with Michael Morbius:

Uses his silver boomerang to decapitate a couple vamps:

Takes out a Hydra assassin:

In MCP #4 he's in North Korea killing a person and blowing up a nuclear plant. He does have a feat in that as he is standing in fire [or looks like it] unharmed

Yea, he looks to be standing in it. Just started reading a few chapters from the Vanguard story and I wonder who Blade and Micromax are working for. I'm guessing Blade's doing some dirty work for Shield. That's why he killed the Korean Nuclear scientist I am guessing. Normally Blade only kills vampires.

BTW why didn't Guggenheim get Wilkins to do art on Blade's last series instead of Chaykin. That would have been so much, much, more tolerable.

Good question, man it was a struggle to read the book because of Chaykin. If Guggenheim drew it I'm sure the sales would have been better.

Wesley Snipes IS Blade. 😐

What the hell is Blade doing in N. Korea killing a nuclear scientist? He must be doing the dirty work for Shield now as snoop said.

That's a good feat, breaking into a North Korean Nuclear facility undetected and taking down the whole shop! Plus Blade looks pretty sweet also in that story.

Whoever drew Blade in the Black Panther ook was tight. Those other guys suck. 😘 Tim Bradstreets art is excellent as always though.

So was it revealed who Blade is working for? Didn't MCP #6 come out today.
