I love paul cornell

Blade inventory in MI:134 currently:
adamantium odachi
mechanized hand (aquired sometime between vanguard and his own series)

and now the wordsword, a mystical/paper mache sword that is efficient against demons.

WIth it Blade scares off a Duke of Hell:

now we fully get an explanation of how Blade's healing factor works, unlike wolverines regeneration, BLade simply descides he isn't hurt and all injuries vanish (in an instant spitfire gains all her muscle and tissue on her arm, as well as healing all of her broken ribs)

while blade's healing factor can't regrow limbs, it is probably one of the fastest acting healing factors

That's pretty cool of Blade to help Spitfire out like that by telling her how vampire healing factors work.

Also, I gotta admitt that wordsword is a pretty cool idea.

I also want to see if blade still uses his gunhand, it'd be cool if he has the gun built into his mechanized hand

with blades type of healing factor it should mean that nothing short of destroying his heart or brain should put him down

I thought I read in a interview Cornell said he was gonna explore Blade's mechanical hand. We'll have to wait and see.

do you know where?

Towards the bottom of this article Cornell explains that Blade "at the moment" has two hands and will change it to "other" things if he wants to. I guess I took that as possibly seeing Blade having some tricks up his sleeve.

Yea.

But Blade cannot regenerate lost limbs like Deadpool can. Wade has the best healing factor in all of comics imo.

yea wade does, but he not the only one who can reform limbs.

Argh. Blade was explaining how a vampire's healing factor works, I don't think there is anything in that issue to suggest that Blade could do the like, Vampires have plenty abilities that Blade himself doesn't.

Co-signed.

Why would Blade tell her it would hurt like hell if he didn't know?

Take your haterade somewhere else.

1. He studied the vampires.

2. His HF probably works similar way, but I doubt it's so fast.

I've never been shot, but I would tell someone else about to shoot themselves that it would hurt with a great deal of confidence.

That's not the same. Blade told her that she is a vampire and to accept the benefits, the same benefits which Blade has.

She's a vampire. Blade is a half vampire. Which is why he can't turn int mist/ a wolf / a bat, and has gotten stitches to deal with lacerations.

Spitfire isn't a full vampire either and she can't do any of those things.

Wolverine got his gut sliced open by Ord and was worthless in that battle. All charaters have low showings.

we have to wait and see. blade may show to have silimilar ability or he may not we don't know. All we have so far is another character doing something and blade making a statement not about himself.
