Originally posted by BattlehammerI guess. But the Marvel handbooks that came out after the alleged retcon still say the Morbius bite gave him his vampiric abilties. But for me, I don't accept the retcon.
it been reconnted that he been born a day walker right?
That's a shady area of Blade's past now.
Originally posted by BattlehammerIt messes up Blades' entire past from the 70's, 80's and early 90's now.
so you think the Morbius bite better then him allways being a daywalker?I kinda torn.
handbooks are shitty you know that though.

I think it looks cool.

also the reaosn I may be torn is due to the fact I statred reading blade after the movies.

He looks better with hair. If he is going to have face tattooes, he should at least get something on the side of his head... and they should at least be some arcane symbles that protect against demonic possession or some such jazz, Blade doesn't seem like a guy who would get a tattoo on his head for the hell of it.

Originally posted by srankmissingninblade explains to he rhow to use it and tells her that its one of the benefits of being part vampire, like himself.
I've never been shot, but I would tell someone else about to shoot themselves that it would hurt with a great deal of confidence.
it would also explain WHY blades healing factor has its high and low-showings,
if it causes thta much pain as he says what would be the point of healing minor injuries, small scratches and such take care of themself, but for large injuries (broken bones torn muscle) he uses his healing factor and the damage is gone near instantly but with the large amount of pain
Originally posted by srankmissingninwe're looking at a VERY different blade here, thats the first thing yo uhave to understand. guggenheim researched blade off of wikipedia, cornell doesnt seem to be writing blade at ALL the sae way guggenehim does (weak)
Difference between low showings and NO showings. The wound on his wrist was still gushing blood at the end of the issue where his hand removed. If he could heal any where close to ten times slower than the speed you are suggesting, his stump would have scabbed up... but it didn't.
cornell stated he wants blade to be there wolverie, and seeing a healing factor like that given to blade I can see that.
Originally posted by srankmissingnin...he didnt wear kevlar when punisher shot him read the page carefully, blade states that the punisher thinks he's wearing kevlar and thats why he took no damage fro mthe gunshot wound. He says it's because he's a vampire., and no once again look at the scan, hrolf opens up a gash across blades chest, and the wound is gone in a few panels.
He was wearing kevlar when Punisher shot him, and Blade is the one who opened up Hrolf's chest.
Originally posted by Battlehammeryeah I think its just a haircut, I no a couple of people wh ohave designs in their hair
I thought that was just a dumb hair cut lol
anywho this is the first time we ever see the healing factor of a vampire described
it can heal any damage near instantly save for torn limps, or heart trauma. BLade also stated in his solo series bullets (even to the head) doesnt kill vampires
blade is described as having all a vampires strengths none of the weaknesses, and seeing as spitfire is the same type of vampire as him, and blade teaches her the technique it should be obvious Blade can do the same
other tha nthe healing factor I love the stash of swords Blade pulls out of no where, he wasnt even originally seens carrying the wordsword (sick sword)
and after MI:13's vampire state arc, the thread should be redone.
Originally posted by srankmissingninwhat are the abilities that blade doesnt have?
Argh. Blade was explaining how a vampire's healing factor works, I don't think there is anything in that issue to suggest that Blade could do the like, Vampires have plenty abilities that Blade himself doesn't.
and spitfire is a dhampir just like blade, only with superspeed.
It Depends On What Genre You Look At.
Vampires Have Abilities In One Style, That They Don't Have In Another.
Blade Is An Immortal Or At Least Was Stated That He Is "Immortal"
An Ability That The Daywalker Doesn't Possess Is Telepathy.
Put It Like This, Whatever The Creators Decide To Think Up, Blade Will End Up Having...For Instance, The Gun Arm That He Had In The 12 Issued Series.
