It was ricky duckworth! im telling the truth... 4 and three quarters.24533 years with hiccups and then he died 2 minutes after he stopped, but forenzics believe that he died as soon as his hiccups stopped, and the grunting noises were just gas escaping

Rev I have a cure for you. just concentrate on waiting for the next hiccup. make sure there are no distractions. just wait thinking when the next one will come. keep doing this.. if you get distracted start again. you may hiccup once or twice but just keep concentrating about when the next hiccup will come.

Many sites, including Guinness, mention a certain Charles Osborne who suffered the hiccups for at least 65 years, although it varied in it's frequency, it was to be considered constant.
And indeed the story goes that he led a married life and had several children...
Guess he really really loved his family and put them above his own wellbeing, cause I would have pulled a 'Amityville horror' on my surroundings if I had to hiccup for 65 years
