I have just come back from seeing POTC 2: Dead`s Man Chest, I thought it was better then the first one but not as good as films like V for Vendetta, Superman Returns and X Men 3. I liked the ending it really sets the events for the next film, all in all it was very good definalty worth look at. I will give it 7/10.
X-Men 3 was absolutely bullshit and allow me (and Minor King) to explain why:
*ahem*
a) There was absolutely NO character development whatsoever and very little good use of 2 potentially excellent plots.
b) Cyclops died really early on.
c) Chuckie died really early on.
d) When Phoenix said "Kill me!" Wolverine saved her and when she said "Save me!" he killed her.
e) They didn't use ANY characters (except Logan obviously) fairly.
f) Angel came in yet did next to nothing.
g) Juggs, the Morlocks and Multiple Man joined Mags for no particular reason and straight away.
h) It was only about 100 minutes long, and a good movie nowadays should be about 150 minutes...
i) There was no nightcrawler and you had to buy the crappy tie in game to find out why!!!!
j) The cure didn't work properly...
k) Beast was WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY too serious.
l) Storm still had no character even though they claimed they'd improved her a lot and she appeared much less!
m) Vinnie Jones can't act.
n) The Juggernaut was a cockney.
o) Vinnie Jones completely failed at ppulling off the "Juggernaut, *****!" line...
p) Leech was completely overrated.
q) Pyro blew up a building in front of Ice Man and it never followed that up until a completely different scene.
r) There's going to be a sequel after all the deaths and depowerings...
s) As above, there will be a sequel but the movie was called THE LAST STAND!
t) Wolverine got to kill Jean and had loads of scenes with her, while scott met Jean ONCE in the movie!
u) Wolverine was, again, too powerful. i mean, he managed to even reach Jean... WTF!?
v) Jean was seriously depowered!
w) There was a huge lack of emotion.
x) The Brooklyn Bridge scene was way too artificial...
y) 3 classic X-Men died: Xavier, Cyclops and Phoenix. Also, rogue was depowered.
z) Wolverine survived.
z-1) 2 guys just managed to cover a huge movie fault for every letter of the alphabet. That's a bad point on its own.
