As for surviving in space... well I doubt any carbon based lifeform could, considering their innards would spontaneously erupt from every possible orifice... that includes Akuma.

Well it's not the first time I've been wrong and it certainly won't be the last either, but for once being wrong doesn't matter in the slightest. Even if Gouki survives the destruction of Earth, the cold vacuum of space does him in, and even if that fails he has no way to move in space so at best he becomes a sitting duck and at worst he just dies.
On another note I did a little bit of research on Pyron and I'd just like to confirm with someone who knows. What type of energy is Pyron made of? everywhere I checked said Nuclear but I want to make sure before I come up with a strategy for him that doesn't involve LT wiping him from existence.

The shungokusatsu like I said grabs the the soul and drags it to hell there the victim relives all it's sins and is ataacked by demons you can't physical defend from it once your caught the only way it is to empty your soul which juggernayt can't do even though he has a magic sheild one touch is enough to end him since I doubt he would see it coming.

like i said it would have to get passed the magic that protects him. Don't know if Akuma or his attack is as strong as the Magic of Cyttorak.

Well that kind of puts Pyron at a real disadvantage, there's a lot of guy's in Marvel who working together could simply drain Pyron away. The Heralds, Galactus, Quasar to name a few. And since Pyron's best feats seem to put him at low to mid Galactus level...well let's just say that in my opinion a lot of fighters get a free lunch.
