even assuming he consciously stopped controlling his powers at a young age, nowadays he has a good life (as well as can be expected compared to his childhood), i think he'd be more than happy to get rid of it...
also, is it me, or did emma look genuinely scared at the end of the issue? like she'd awakened some sort of monster by giving him his powers back (assuming she was the one stopping him)?
also also 😛, if it was him just refusing to use his powers till the right moment, thats a hell of a clever move on his part, fooling the enemy into thinking he was weak until he could get where he wanted...

Agree. And I don't think she's exactly scared, she's shocked of what's happening...

I'd say she's either relieved that Scotts alright(Post Torture and the Prison Schematic Mental Upload) and that he has finally worked out the issues they discussed in AXM #14 or that something might have gone wrong. I'd go with the former

Am I the only one tired of seeing these children being asses to Cyclops? I, personally, think the kids are being asses to both Scott and Emma. I think the New X-Men need to realize that it's not all about them and that everyone is going through a hard time.

yeah, though ive even seen scott go on about how he failed them and shit... when he was 16 he was fighting magneto, kids need to buck up methinks...
