Supergirl #6 - One Year (and one month) Later
Yeah, a not so subtle nod to how late this book is. Basic Premise: Kara and Karen (Power Girl) are both in the bottle City of Kandor fighting against a Kryptonian dictatorship led by someone named Kal-El who looks a lot like Superman though it's made clear it isn't him. Kara and Karen have assumed the identities of legendary vigilantes named Flamebird and Nightwing respectively. If you're wondering, the Kryptonian Nightwing is where Dick Grayson took the name from after meeting the original duo back in his Robin days.
-Kara takes on some anti-Kryptonian thugs on the streets of Kandor. She's not as powerful because of the red sun environment but she still has abilities. She uses her speed and strength to her advantage. Power Girl intervenes in the fight.
