I think It comes from that God at some point says that men shouldn't sleep with men... Now god also says we should burn witches.... and burning a sacrifice produces an aroma pleasing to the lord...

But If the bible is cohered to 100% in this day and age I think you will find alot of those rules out of date... Along with the sexism that was around in those times.. So is slavery.. Yet the bible supports that...

The core message is good.. But the rest leaves alot to be desired..
