All kidding aside, in the Catholic church, no their shouldn't be. At least not until the pope comes out and says "I'm gay" or "There is nothing wrong with being gay" in most other churches or religions it really depends on the message you are trying to send. A homosexual roman catholic leader is just wrong because well it goes against what they preach and therefor the priest is wrong and shouldn't be trusted.
In churches were homosexuality is not regarded as a sin I can see no problems with it. Its really the choice of the religious organisation itself, and it all depends on the message they want to send.

I see no problem. We need some decent people to tell those who are narroiw minded and ignorant that homosexuality is okay.

Me personally, I wouldn't have a problem with gay priests at all.
Mix 'em together and you got my opinion. Just a little better phrased than I would have though, of course.
I don't see any problem with homosexuals becomings priests. I think that religion should evolve, just like the rest of society. And, since it rarely does at the same rate, it ends up hindering the evolution of society in the process.
However, at this particular point in history, I must admit that I am baffled by any homosexual that wishes to include themselves as members of a majority of the organized religions.
