Concerning the rules of their religion; priests, popes and monks aren't even supposed to have the whole business of sexuality on their minds. That remains reserved for the 'lesser sheep' in the community. So according to that they can't even be active as heterosexuals, let alone as homosexuals (which is a major sin in their religion as well).
Personally, I can't care less. If some priests wants to get it one with a mature male who is in to it as well, so what.
Thing that bothers me is the fact that these religious leaders are bound by rules that defy natural feelings and can't express these feelings because of that. As a result of that, it happens that they resort to abusing the most vulnerable amongst their followers (children, and often boys it seems) as those are first of all fairly easy to persuade, especially under the cloak of religion, and also are physically easy to overpower and eventually easier to manipulate in remaining silent concerning what ever event that occurred.
Religion just has to much faith and prospect in man, while they remain just animals, no matter how many tricks you teach them.
