Texture?

?

I said "Texture".

What do you mean by 'texture'?

I don't know, ask Minx.

I wouldn't say that's a manip. Blurring layers and changing the blend mode, with some stamping thrown in does not make an image a photomanipulation.

Texturing is exactly what it sounds like - you take a texture (go on http://sxc.hu and search for textures, or go to http://imageafter.com), place it on the image, and adjust the blend mode so that it doesn't overbear the image but still lends texture (and sometimes color) to it.

This is a photomanip 😛

And yeah that's one of mine 😛

Sry, I didn't know, but the tut I used said "phtotomanip"..

hi could someone advise me on how to make this sig better

Most people who write "manip" tutorials have no idea what photomanips really are.

The red glow on the text clashes horribly with the rest, for starters.

Okay, kind of unsure if I like this or not....

I think, as long as you are manipulating a picture/photo, who are we to say it isn't a photomanip? However, I agree with Lana; many people think a blurred layer set to soft light is a "manip" in the sense that it is commonly used on the internet, but they are hopelessly wrong.

But I did more than that...
